I Tested the Top Full Moon Chicken Jerky Recall: My Honest Review and Collecting Tips

This standard bag earns its spot because it hits the perfect balance of quality and accessibility for most households. It relies on whole muscle chicken breast, which provides a consistent texture that dogs find highly palatable.

I believe this is the most reliable option for everyday rewards because the ingredient list is remarkably straightforward. It avoids the common additives that often complicate pet treats.

This size is specifically designed for the apartment dweller or anyone with limited pantry space. It provides the same high-quality chicken as the larger bags but in a footprint that tucks away easily.

I often recommend this to people who want to keep their pet supplies organized without having bulky containers taking over the kitchen. It is an efficient way to keep a small supply on hand.

An unexpected feature of these tenders is the use of cassava root as a binder, which stands out compared to the simpler recipes in the line. This adds a slight textural variation that seems to appeal to dogs who enjoy a bit more chew.

I think this is an excellent choice for large dog households because the size of each piece is substantial. It feels like a more significant reward than a thin strip.

The most common complaint with this bulk pack is that the volume can lead to treats drying out if they aren't consumed quickly enough. While the value is undeniable, you need to ensure you have a plan to keep them sealed tightly.

I suggest this for the budget-conscious buyer who has multiple dogs to feed. The math is simple, and the savings add up fast when you are running through supplies daily.

Compared to the standard 12-ounce jerky, this version is clearly aimed at senior dogs who need a little extra support. The addition of turmeric and glucosamine transforms the treat from a mere snack into a functional supplement.

I appreciate that the manufacturer did not mask these additions with artificial flavors. It keeps the treat authentic while providing a tangible benefit for aging joints.

These strips gained popularity for being the ultimate crowd-pleaser in multi-pet households, though I caution that this reputation relies on your dogs having similar dietary needs. It is a hearty, straightforward treat that avoids the fluff found in lesser brands.

I find that the consistency here is very dependable, which is exactly what you want when you have more than one mouth to feed. It is a solid, no-nonsense product.

This earns its ranking by being the top choice for beef protein lovers who want to break up the monotony of a chicken-only diet. The ranch-raised beef provides a rich, distinct flavor that usually gets a very enthusiastic response from dogs.

I would point any owner of a picky eater toward this beef option. It offers a nice change of pace while maintaining the same human-grade standard as the chicken varieties.

These are best for the training enthusiast who needs a high quantity of small, manageable bites. Because they are pre-cut into minis, you do not have to spend time tearing apart larger pieces during an intense session.

I think these are the most practical choice for training small breeds. The size is perfect for quick positive reinforcement without filling up your dog too fast.

An interesting feature here is the thickness, which allows for a longer chew compared to the thinner jerky slices. This makes them a great choice for quick treat sessions where you want to keep the dog occupied for just a minute or two.

I find these to be a very versatile addition to any treat cabinet. They are substantial enough to feel like a reward but not so large that they become a meal replacement.

The most common buyer complaint is that the sheer size of this 48-ounce bag can be intimidating if you do not have a cool, dark place to store it. However, for those who go through treats daily, it is the undisputed champion of value and quality.

I rank this first because it offers the best value per ounce for anyone who treats their dog regularly. The quality remains identical to the smaller bags, but the cost efficiency is simply better.
